Come Away with Me

Updated: Apr 10, 2021

You have to go there......it is never easy. There comes a time when the cycle must be broken, the curse must be uninvited, the thing that hunts you down must in turn be hunted itself, utterly destroyed, and forgotten. There is a place that becomes so uncomfortable and painful that each of us must face it head on in order for the prison of pain to finally end. Denial is ruthless, crutches are hinderances, and making sense of it all is a waste of time. You can spend years in a psychologist office piecing together the how and whys, connecting dots, and justifying the cycle your seemingly stuck inside. But its worthless until the reality of the pain is finally dead, when the need to cope is buried once and for all, and the tremors of brokeness have ceased which have a clever way of ruining everything and reminding you that your still stuck.

HE was pierced for our trangressions...

HE was bruised for our iniquites...

We must be careful not to trample the blood HE shed.

He is described as a Man that cannot lie

A man of sorrows and well acquainted with sorrow

But...He trains well our hands for battle and will listen to us for so long until He asks us to engage in the battle. He engaged and bled and died and won. Again, we must not trample the blood.

We must wake up and become the victor not stay the victim. The heavenly will for our lives must be activated. However, if we wallow in our broken places even after we can accuratley identify them, name them, understand when and how they entered our life will work against us as a mockery of HIM; A mockery of His cross.

This cannot be...listen to His words to you beloved!

"I have come as you have asked to draw you to MY Heart and lead you out. For now is the time, My Beautiful One." Song of Solomon 2:10

"Awake, O Sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light." Ephesians 5:14

He has come to lead you out...out of the pit of your despair and out into the arena of where your enemy lies.

The enemy is like a roaring lion prowling around and seeking whom he can devour.

1 Peter 5:8

" For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

I went away with Him and kept pursuing, kept pushing, kept pressing until He said to me..."Your going to have to fight him." This shifting was awakening for me.

This particular battle was personal for me. It was due time to turn the sword on the one that hunted me down each day. Jesus knew I was weak very weak. We all have battles in our lives. Some He fights on our behalf for us, some take alot of fasting and prayer for deliverance, and there are those that He has been training us for a very very very long time.

In our weakness, HE is Strong. The bible says let the weak say I am strong. Our brokeness cannot become self indulgent. This is not easily identifiable especially when you have been a victim...but there is a time when Jesus must be who you say He is.

You must acknowledge that remaining in a vicious cycle of immense inner pain NO MATTER THE SOURCE is SELFISH.

You have a part now and your part has to FIGHT your flesh. That is your anger, pride, disappointment, and choice to entertain chronic pain. There must be an end and that is when you throw your own punches. Jesus is there and so is the devil your arch enemy.

His word says , He will never leave you nor forsake you. Come away He says with me. There are times when you need to be ruthless... you yourself become the hunter and not the hunted. The time when you make your mind up to end the battle with your Victory.

How is this possible...you have to go away with Jesus intentionally, strategically, and persistently. You have to make yourself READY.

You have to get really honest really deep sometimes very quiet and go back to the roots of the pain. You have to do this with Him alone. He will show up and start to illuminate a lot.

Mark 6:31 says, " Come away with me, Let us go to a quiet place and rest awhile."

Remember you can do all things through Christ who strenghthens you.

Surround yourself with Him, Praise Him, Read His Word, Meditate, Pray, Fast, and Dialogue those intimate things with Him. He knows it all anyway right?

You must do this with Jesus and never alone. Its not possible any other way. Our humanity is weak, flawed, and sinful. You can only hold off for so long until your enemy devours you once more. Remember His language, Come away with ME...

When He speaks its truth always. When He spoke to me those golden, pure words, "Your going to have to fight him," I knew it was possible and that the chains that entangled me for so long...too long were to be destroyed and Soon!

He's worth it isnt He?

He died for me right?

What does He ask of us?

Feed my lambs

Feed my sheep

How can one do that when they themselves are in hiding from an enemy already defeated?

To the victim I say, Repent of your own sins and stop paying for someone elses.

"Listen, my radiant one-if you ever lose sight of me, just follow in my footsteps where I lead my lovers. Come with your burdens and cares. Come to the place near the sanctuary of my shepherds." Song of Solomon 1:8 (from the passion translation).

There is a hope like nothing this world can offer.

Deliverance and Healing is not found in our stores nor our streets or even in and of our own selves.

We need one thing...JESUS!

Longing for freedom is for a season

Living in freedom is already paid for

The choice really is yours

The decision to go there isn't easy but is so worth it

Remember, you go with Him!

Make His name known throughout the earth

Lead others to their places of Victory!

Remember, He asked Peter three times

Do You Love Me?

Peter replied yes Lord, I love you.

Then Jesus replied...then

Feed My lambs

Feed My sheep

"Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth? The early signs of My purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, "There is change in the air." Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to ARISE and come away with me." Song of Solomon 2:13

God Bless!
